Aberdeen
  • Trondheim is the capital of Mid-Norway’s oil and gas industry and it is vital we have a route to Aberdeen. The region has more than one thousand researchers in oil & gas related R&D, working in the different institutions of SINTEF, NTNU and Statoil. There is also a total of 120 companies related to the petroleum industry, and together these companies employ approximately 6,000 people. Furthermore, as many as 990 candidates are annually graduating in oil & gas related studies in the Mid-Norway region.
  • Because Aberdeen is fast developing as a re-newable energy centre, business contact with Trondheim will only grow because we are on of Norway’s leading renewable energy centres.
